2019 Dates are still to be released! However from late May to mid June Sydney Harbour will be transformed by Vivid Sydney.
This festival of light, music and ideas is the biggest of it’s kind in the Southern Hemisphere with over 1.4 million people attending last year! This 23 night festival of light, music and ideas is a must see for visitors and locals alike.
Light installations and animated colour productions from over a hundred artists around the world can be seen against the backdrop of many of Sydney’s iconic buildings.
Our 60 minute Vivid Light Cruise’s will pick you up in Darling Harbour and take you to view all the light displays aboard one of our vessels. With great outdoor viewing areas both vessels allow you to maximise your experience and are fantastic for photo opportunities.
Go Whale Watching has two boats "True Blue" & 'Explorer" both are 75 passenger powered catamarans with walk around decks perfect for viewing the light installations!

Cruise Departure Times:
Monday to Sunday
6.00pm to 7.00pm
7.15pm to 8.15pm (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays)
8.30pm to 9.30pm (Fridays & Saturdays)
All cruises depart and return to King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour, Sydney.
These cruises must depart on time. Please ensure you arrive 20 minutes prior to your departure time to board the boat. Darling Harbour is very busy during Vivd so please plan your trip into the city and allow plenty of time. Unfortunately the boat is not able to wait if you are running late.
We suggest you bring warm clothing as this is an evening cruise. Your Camera. Wet weather jacket if rain forecast.
How to Get There - King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour
King Street Wharf runs parallel to Lime Street.
Sydney Ferries – Services to Darling Harbour depart Circular Quay Wharf 5 about every half hour. Please check timetables for full schedule on Transport Info: 131 500 or www.131500.com.au
Train – Town Hall or Wynyard stations. 5-10 min walk from CBD down Market St. or King St.
Bus –Sydney Explorer Bus Stop No 24, or hop off any bus service in that city that drops near Market Street or King Street and take the short walk down to Darling Harbour.
Taxi – Ask to be dropped at King Street Wharf on Lime Street or Wheat Road.
